Folk New England Founder Betsy Siggins Awarded a Spirit of Folk Award

Folk New England founder Betsy Siggins will be awarded a “Spirit of Folk Award” at the International Folk Alliance’s Annual Convention in Kansas City on February 14th.

The Spirit of Folk Award is presented to honor and celebrate people and organizations actively involved in the promotion and preservation of folk music through their creative work, community building, and demonstrated leadership.

Can’t be in KC? Watch the International Folk Music Awards on their live stream starting at 9pm (CT) on February 14, and see Betsy accept her award.
