Interim Chair Jim Rooney and Founder Betsy Siggins presented Jim Kweskin with a Folk New England Lifetime Achievement Award last February at a sold-out concert produced by FNE Executive Director Brian Quinn at the Arlington Theater. In addition to the many talented members of Jim’s extended family, the concert featured appearances by former Kweskin Jug Band members Maria Muldaur and Geoff Muldaur. It was a night to remember. Jim Kweskin has recently donated to the FNE Archive at UMass/Amherst a major collection of papers, photographs and recordings covering his entire career.
